Terms of service

Last updated August 2, 2026

These terms cover your use of Stack Fluid. Using the product means you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.

What Stack Fluid is

A bookkeeping tool. You record income and expenses, attribute them to the apps you ship, and export summaries. It organizes numbers you give it.

What it is not

Stack Fluid is not an accountant, a tax preparer, or a financial adviser, and nothing it produces is tax or legal advice. Schedule C mappings and category suggestions are starting points for you or your accountant to review. You are responsible for what you file.

Your account

Your data is yours

You keep ownership of everything you enter. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process, and display it back to you, and to run the features you use. You can export it or ask us to delete it at any time. See Privacy for who processes what.

Acceptable use

We may suspend an account that does these things.

Availability

Stack Fluid is in early access. Features can change and the service can be unavailable. We don’t promise a specific uptime, and we recommend keeping your own exports for anything you rely on.

Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, or tax penalties. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending things

You can stop using Stack Fluid and request deletion whenever you want. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; where it’s reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and a chance to export first.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will update the date above and note what changed. Continuing to use the product after that means you accept the new version.
